Come together with the St Johns Clutter Busters, SOLVE staff and community members for a cleanup in the St Johns Neighborhood! This event will be entirely out-doors and will comply with social distancing guidelines. After a safety talk and getting cleanup supplies, we will spend a few hours picking up litter in the neighborhood to improve our community and protect our ecosystem. Join us in making Portland a better place!
When: Saturday October 17, 10:30am - 12:30pm
Staggered Check In: To avoid a crowd at check in, arrive anytime between 10:30 - 11:00am for check in. Event will run from 10:30am – 12:30pm.
Where: We will meet in St Johns City Park, which is right next to the St Johns Community Center, 8427 N Central St, Portland, OR 97203.
Getting There/ Parking: Walking/biking/ taking Trimet to the event is encouraged. Free parking is available on the street, next to the park.
What's Provided: Heavy-duty garbage bags, litter grabbers and vinyl gloves are provided to all participants that need them.
What to Bring: Please come wearing closed-toed shoes, with a filled reusable water bottle. If you have your own gloves, litter grabber, litter bag, or bucket, you are encouraged to bring those as well.

COVID Safety: Wear a face covering. Observe social distancing throughout the cleanup. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an attentive adult.
Restrooms: No public restrooms will be available during this event. Please plan accordingly.
