I was born in Baguio City, Philippines and grew up in Chicago. We moved to St. Johns in 2015.
I worked for 20 years in the fashion industry as a textile developer and senior merchandising and brand manager in New York, North Carolina and San Francisco.
I have done both web and catalog copywriting, and started my social media company Bizzy Lizzie in 2013 as a way to combine all of the things I love to do. Small businesses are my passion and I love helping them grow and foster community through marketing content, while taking away the worry of having to manage the ever-changing social media platforms.
Since August 2020 I have also been working as a Guide at Wayfinding Academy, which I love! It’s a great honor to be able to work with young people as they navigate their academic and life journeys.
I am an animal advocate, including 6 years as a core volunteer with Rocket Dog Rescue and Friends of Roman Cats. My husband and I are proud guardians of 5 rescue dogs and 2 cats.
I absolutely love St. Johns and Cathedral Park neighborhoods and being a member of the Boosters has been a great way to integrate into this vibrant business community. I have also been the on the board Venture Portland for 5 years and currently serve as Past President and Co-Chair of the Equity and Outreach Committee.
When I’m not working, you might find me singing with the St. Johns Women’s Choir, at the St Johns Farmers Market, volunteering with the St Johns Bizarre, or planning the next Cakeluck, a wonderful civic event that brings neighbors together over the love of cake, in the heart of St. Johns. And oh yes, I love to bake!
